Love Swimming? Come and Join Us!

Swimming sessions help to improve confidence and reduce social isolation allowing children to interact with other disabled children and their families. They also provide a welcome break for parents and carers.

We currently have about 40 disabled children and their families accessing swimming lessons and we would love to hear from you if you'd like to help us make a real difference to the children's lives.

As an independent club with charity status, Fylde Sharks need to raise around £14,000 each year to continue to provide much needed swimming lessons. We have a fantastic group of supporters and volunteers who work hard to run the club and raise funds.

Come and join our wonderful team of volunteers and supporters. We'd love to welcome you aboard!

If you'd like to help Fylde Sharks or learn more about our work, please read what we do and how to get involved, or get in touch with us. Thank you.

Qualified Swimming Teachers Needed

March 2017

We need qualified ASA level 1 and 2 swimming teachers for our Saturday and Sunday sessions. The lessons take place at St Annes YMCA and Kirkham Rural Splash swimming pools on a fortnightly basis from 3.30-5.30pm. We are also looking for volunteers to help with a number of roles, including acting as pool side volunteers to non-executive committee members or trustees - as much help or time as you give will be much appreciated.

Come and join us!
